Microsoft is stepping out of its usual business model with the release of their new tablet, dubbed “Surface.” Aside from the X-box and Zune, Microsoft usually sticks to producing the software for computer makers. Where the release of the Zune and Xbox didn’t cause competition for the computer manufacturers that use the Windows OS, the release of the new Surface tablet does.
